Assassin's Creed Valhalla Review

Before we start reviewing Assassin's Creed Valhalla, you should know that when the first leaks started about Assassin's Creed Valhalla, I wasn't enthusiastic; in fact, I had a feeling that this game would be a repetition of Odyssey and Origins, but with a different character and character.

Then the ads for the series started and with it the enthusiasm and anticipation began to rise for the new look and the latest version of Leila Hassan's trilogy, which is supposed to complete the story of the present world, finish it completely, and complete what came behind Desmond Mile.

But with all this anticipation and enthusiasm, there was a hidden voice inside me telling me not to raise my expectations too much, so as not to be shocked, well the goal was shocked and all my expectations were wrong.

For the first time in a long time, I feel like there is an Assassin's Creed game that truly deserves to be played and spent your time in, Assassin's Creed Valhalla is bringing back the glory of the lost series and will hold your breath throughout its incredible journey.

As we all knew from all the leaks that were issued about the game, from the official announcements, etc., the game will follow the story of a Viking warrior named Ivor - here Ivor is a man or a woman according to what you want -.

You will follow Ivor on his journey to avenge the killer of his father and mother - I expected this, right? - This is also my case with the beginning of the game and the moment of "Damn, another revenge story ?!"

I began to feel that all the world's stories are badly executed revenge stories and that all the feelings that deserve to be stirred up in the world are revenge only, but luckily for me, the story of revenge in Valhalla's world is weak and very small, and the first hour of the game will rarely pass.

The game exploits the story of revenge to build you a relationship with the hero of the game, whether a woman or a man, and to understand his motives, and quickly you will see this revenge ends and reaches its end in the first moments of the game.

With the end of the revenge story, the true story of the game begins to appear and takes the main arena, which is a story of exploration, adventure, and the preservation of brotherly relations

The story rapidly develops into a story of friendship and brotherhood motivated by these feelings in addition to the desire to gain glory, discover the unknown, and make history.

Soon you will find yourself moving to the Kingdom of England, divided into four small kingdoms at war with each other, and it is said explicitly in the game that you will go there just like Ragnar Sons or the sons of Ragnar, who are most likely the sons of Ragnar Lutherbork, the hero of the much loved Viking series.

As soon as you arrive in England, you will start making your colony and building relationships, and strengthening them dramatically and quickly with other colonies so that your tribe and colony can flourish and this takes most of the course of the story.

To build relationships with other Viking camps, she will do some missions to assist them from assassination missions, investigations, search for lost men, and other usual things for main story missions.

But hey? Where are the story of the Assassins and the evil knights of the temple who are trying to control the world ?!

In fact, this story takes a step back, as the Knights of the Temple here are called The Ancient Order, continuing what appeared in the previous sections and the organization of the Assassins is called The Hidden Ones, and here you will meet two of the disappeared, namely Basem and Haitham.

Bassem is Haitham's teacher and Haitham is a reckless, reckless boy. Basim and Haitham will use the dash and anger of the Vikings and their desire to control as much of the country as possible for their cause and defeat the Templars.

Our relationship this time is a purely beneficial one and not a heroic relationship based on the hero's desire to save the world.

The hero of the game is not a Chosen One of the gods nor distinguished at all, but he is only a strong and courageous warrior, which makes him placed in many vital places.

Honestly, what I liked most about the story is that it relies on a hero who has his own realistic and logical earthly causes that push him to kill and conquer and not a hero who tries to save the world from the evils as we used to see previously.

Ivor is not a hero chosen from the gods directly and does not have any special features that distinguish him from the rest of the Vikings, but he is a very courageous and skilled warrior, so he enters into this battle very superficially.

All the characters in the game are carefully written, especially the main characters, and despite the simplicity of the story and its lack of complexity to the fact that it moves away from the desire for revenge and the higher reasons makes it an interesting story and it is important to follow it, but believe me, when I tell you that the story is not the most important thing in this game, this game was specially made To offer you an excellent and pioneering style of play.

While the gameplay here is similar to what we saw previously in AC Odyessy and Origins, you'll always feel better and smoother.

I am not talking about the irreproachable graphics, and we will talk about it later, but the gameplay itself gives you this feeling of smoothness, ease, and fun at the same time.

It is very important to get a game that gives you a distinctive and strong style of play apart from the story that we can discuss a lot in it, but the style of play has the ability to cover many of the components of the game slightly weaker.

The game still adopts the semi-RPG style, but now it has been able to fully integrate it into its world and style to give you the feeling that you do not need to care about the level of your weapons nor your level and the Power Level for your character.

Perhaps the biggest change in play is character control and offense and defense.

Do not be mistaken, as the game still relies a lot on the style of Barry and Dodge, but this is only to make the game easier for you and to get better results and more fun for your strokes.

Now you can control each arm separately, there are dedicated buttons for the main arm, which is the left arm of the character and another for the right arm, and you can choose any combination of weapons you want.
There is also a wide difference in the method of developing the character, obtaining abilities, and replacing strengths, so now the upgrade process has become a very dynamic process through which you can show more than one method and more than one different style of play as you can see in the image above of the promotions tree.

Also, your character's level becomes known as Power Level, and it is automatically upgraded as you progress through and play the game.

I have not met any level Gap while enjoying the game, some areas of course require a higher level than the one you have, but this is the norm in all Semi RPG games and it forces you to a specific game sequence, which is very usual.

As usual, all UbiSoft games have a large collection of collectible items, such as additional resources, weapons, etc., and there are also a group of special abilities hidden within the game world and you need to search for them until you discover them.

In fact, these points of interest have been distributed very well and evenly within the world, and you will not find them easily most of the time, and you will meet many very interesting environmental puzzles to solve within this world to be able to access its prizes and treasures.

The second important point in the world is the side missions.

Unusually, you will not need to talk with the characters to get side missions, for example, you will be very satisfied with hearing the side characters talking about a specific thing they want to do and when you do this, the side mission will start according to their different requirements and choices.

There are a lot of side activities that you will meet, for example, you can enter the challenges of throwing dice or dice and you can also enter spelling competitions and here it will give you a set of sentences and options that you can choose from to complete the competition as you want and complete the challenge as you wish.

Of course, some sentences have better soundtracks and may make you win the challenge and others will not make you win or lose, also the more you win in verbal duels, the more charisma you get, which enables you to open new dialogue options within the game world with great ease.
