Someday You'll Return Review

A person’s stupidity may reach horizons that are difficult to imagine, which may lead him to commit acts that he may admire about himself, which are his own doing, but how can he do that? Since he refuses to look in the mirror of himself, adopting the flimsy arguments he likes, such as that someone else is doing this, why should I not do it? This is how he convinces himself of his own conscience, asking him to return to his deep slumber (something that many of us will probably do) Someday You'll Return is a game that tells us a story of folly or perhaps stupidity, about how a person can not realize the value of what he has, whatever its price before To lose him completely, and when this happens he will have to do the impossible to restore him, and during this matter, he will realize why he has lost what he has lost and raised the curtain slowly so that the full picture of his work will begin to become more and more clear to see all that his hands have committed.

Let's start by talking about what is this journey that we will take through the character of Daniel to search for his daughter who was lost in a forest with a past that brings them together, and while we do not know much about this person except for his sharp temperament and strong tongue, he has a degree of responsibility as a father so that he goes alone and without contact With the police to carry out this risky search mission when will these fools learn?) And as expected, as soon as our hero arrives at his desired destination, the strange and crazy events begin to fall in succession, starting from the strange characters that Daniel will meet in the jungle through to a strange-looking beast inhabiting the forest Trying to kill him, reaching the supernatural phenomena that occur in the forest, ending with mysterious entities whose goal is no different from the strange beast, Daniel will have to face all of this in order to find his daughter and face his past (I still think the police was a good option.

If I am going to talk about the story of the game, I have to say that I had previously seen it many times in different templates, the plot and the characters seemed very familiar to me, and by that, I mean that anyone with little experience in horror games can expect many events and events, and if this is not enough The story often gives you the feeling that it exaggeratedly underestimates your mind, as there were many very clear hints of what is supposed to be unexpected events leading to the plot or "twist" and unfortunately the characters were not able to improve this image at all as none raised They are interested in any level at all, in addition to the fact that the dialogues between them seemed dull and not interesting at all, not only at the level of writing, the voice acting seemed very cold and devoid of any life to make you actually interact with the events of the story. What made matters worse is the presence of a very disturbing interference in most of the dialogues. Between the characters or even between Daniel during his conversation with himself, this made me very angry as it was the reason for me to miss many dialogues, even if it was not that important.

Someday You'll Return Review

Someday You'll Return Never have a hard-to-understand gameplay, while it is a first-person horror game, it follows more of the walking simulator or walking simulator system, so you will spend a lot of your time roaming the semi-open world of the game and I have to say here that the team has succeeded. A lot in employing the game world, as he used the Czech walking signs system, which would be a good help for you in navigating the vast forest along with the map system on your mobile phone, and fortunately the game scene looks beautiful and captivating in addition to the presence of some sweet melodies in it between Now and then, I didn't mind spending much time traveling long distances inside it, and if some annoying foggy moments would hang over the atmosphere in general, but the game also has some beautiful lists in files and notes that you will get during your progress and by mentioning this, the game has some Collections that range from important, such as the notes I mentioned earlier, to useless, such as gum papers distributed around her world, for example. To conclude the discussion about the game, technically, I encountered some technical errors, such as the time I got stuck in a confined space without being able to move at all, or the time I closed the way back when I resave, forcing me to return to a slightly older file.

The game seeks to introduce diversity in it where you will have to do several different things to break the rhythm by solving some puzzles that do not really contain anything special in them but are not bad as well as you will pay some things to reach a specific area or decode it using some hints and other traditional things, in addition To the climbing system to reach high places, which is a simple system that depends only on your choice of the appropriate position of your hand in the prominent rocks, but it does what is required of it, but if I will praise something about these diversity methods, perhaps it is the tooling system and the manufacture of potions in the game while the first is presented With him a set of multiple tools to use to help you bypass some places, the second offers you several recipes for combining different types of plants in the forest to obtain potions that will help you on your journey in different ways, there are other good elements such as using the totem to drive away mysterious forest entities and displace rocks or balance While walking on unstable objects, all of them helped improve the game's rhythm, but unfortunately, they did not avoid them from entering the circle of boredom, and we will learn the reason shortly.

The life of the game is relatively long, as it may take approximately 11 hours to finish it and it may take longer if you want to find all the assemblies inside it or if you want to get all the endings inside it, yes the game contains several endings but it was not practically applied as you have to do a long replay of parts of The game is in addition to some additional combinations to get the different endings and the fact that the endings as a whole did not make me feel any kind of satisfaction, whether they were bad or good, the long life of the game did not reflect positively on it at all, and perhaps I should say that it had a negative impact, I felt that the journey was too long as I found myself repeating so many things inside her and re-viewing many situations inside her with just different dialogues! In the end, I cannot say that I did not find any interesting aspects in it, but I cannot hide my feeling of boredom as well at many times inside it, Someday You'll Return is a game that has what distinguishes it without a doubt and it carries with it a purposeful human message, except that the basic elements The one that I relied on has suffered from the poor application and lack of gravity, which sharpened it and reached the level of a good game, so I do not think it is an experience that I might want to return to one day.

Someday You'll Return Review

Someday You’ll Return

  • Impressive atmosphere, beautiful artistic touches with many charming melodies, amusing tooling system and pot-making, excellent use of the Czech walking tag system, and a good variety of gameplay elements.
  • A story with a well-defined repetitive plot, modest acting, and sound effects, a very annoying interference in the game's dialogues, uninteresting characters, the long life of the game was not well exploited, and some technical bugs here and there.
  • Someday You'll Return is a not new example of a product that has several distinct ideas, but these ideas did not cover the weak application of the main game elements, and although the result is far from being described as bad, it also does not rise to describe it as good as well.
